According to the Club's doctors rest won't improve the groin/lower stomach problem he has. Cogs was interviewed in the train mag MX yesterday and he said he'll have to play up forward quite a bit for the next month or so. He also said this week was the first time he was able to join the rest of the side in the last training session before the game. So he may be improving slowly. We are definitely carrying injury-affected/interrupted pre-season players at the moment - Gas, Cambo, Cogs. Not good .

Its a fair indication of the rabble we have become when one of our most talented players to come to the club in the past decade cannot be spared for surgery.

The kid is injured I dont care what the club says, he is NOT 100% and continually playing him will do him more harm than good, its about bloody time the club got some balls and did something about his injury.

Surely now the club realises any hopes of playing finals is over so rest Cogs for as long as it takes put him on the long-term injury list and give the three rookie listers hope that they can be promoted to the senior side during the year.

i agree rest cogs.despite what the docs remarks regarding it wont improve faster even if he,s not playing,fact of the matter is he cant bend over,stride out.rest son rest!

same applies to gasper not rest but send him back to coburg.
huge question mark of cambo-i was wrong from earlier on he hasnt lost a yard he,s lost 5 along with no capaicity to turn sharply.

all 3 are doing more harm than good to themselves and the side.

Totally agree. I mentioned to my family that Cogs just shouldnt be playing.

Hes better then half the pack out there when injured. Id rather see him at full pelt like last year rather then 50% all the time. It will just take longer..

The way i see it Spud is in a bit of a predicament. The bloke is trying to save his job, so he will play his best players regardless of what form they are in, just to try and salvage something.

Gaspar should have been played through 2nds, Cambo is not injured, just not playing anywhere near ability, Cogs needs to get treatment, and as for Richo . . . . well he's just Richo. Gotta love him!
