South Australia, 21.8.134 defeated NSW/ACT, 13.9.87 at Adelaide Oval

Both teams arrived for this cloudy and chilly game at Adelaide oval, knowing full well this could be the make or break game for their respective campaigns. For SA, all eyes were on Footypie32 at Fullback and how he could curb flaps influence, and likewise for icefreak and his work on SA forward Bengwatkins.

icefreak was in for a rough day as his opponent kickstarted the SA lads with a cracker goal, thanks to the elite kicking of spookism. The rest of the quarter saw an arm wrestle develop as flaps kicked his first two for the game in reply, and the NSW boys kept the first break gap to just 5 points, despite all of SA's attacking.

Despite a late quarter surge by NSW, SA managed to retain a 3 goal buffer going into the long break, thanks to some great midfield work and solid rebounding from defense.

Third quarter belonged to SA, as they pushed out to a comfortable 7 goal lead going into the last break, with crazy_big_al dropping the ball down into the throats of his clearance specialists.

Despite trying to fight back for some respect in the final scoreline, NSW managed to hold the lead back from extending too much, as South Australia cruised into a comfortable, percentage boosting victory and to retain some hope of an unlikely series win.

For SA, it all started in the middle with crazy_big_al getting 16hitouts to go with his 18 disposals and 5 bone crunching tackles. BoshtrichBurger proved why hes one of the best midfielders around, collecting 29 disposals and booting 2 cracker goals. Regular power forward Bengwatkins was back to his dominate best, kicking 8 goals 2, from his 10 chances.

NSW/ACT was well served by the likes of Gee Dub, who had 20 disposals and a goal to his name, as well as flaps, who kicked an accurate 5 goals straight from his own chances. The highlight for the visitors had to be the games of MD and @Pantskle.

To break it down;

MD: 22 Kicks, 9 marks, 18 handballs, 40 total Disposals, 3 tackles and 2 goals.

pantskyle 13 hit outs, 16 kicks, 21 handballs 37 total Disposals and 1 goal.
Both dominating yet unfortunately not enough for the rampaging SAers.

To break down what will happen next week:

Thursday 26th September (Starting at 7pm)

South Australia v Western Australia at Football Park

If South Australia win, they will be on top with 12 points and a favourable +100%, in the situation that Metro loses.
What's this "if" shit you're on about? o_O

Unlikely we'll have another draw this SoO carnival. How often would we have 2 draws in a matter of 15 matches?

In an ideal world, NSW/ACT would of beaten Vic Metro, then all sides would be on 8 points.
