People arguing and criticizing Folau. Seriously save your breath people, the fool is self destructing. Dont give it attention.

And people who i can only assume are defending him or some ideal. (Like i said only skim read and dont know the points) but why the hell would you want to rope your self in with this idiot.

It’s almost like you have no idea how free speech works.

My wife is a teacher. If she went on Facebook and wrote “student x is a dickhead” she would get sacked.

Free speech simply means that the government can’t arrest you for an opinion. (Slander, libel, inciting violence and a few other things excepted)

But it doesn’t mean that you can’t get fired, mocked, jeered. And it certainly doesn’t mean your opinion needs to be respected.

Free speech relates to the public sector only. We’re talking private sector. Hell, you can lose your job with the wrong haircut if you’re unlucky enough to have a shit boss.

Surely using Anning as an example in this regard is not a good way to present your argument hahaha

If anything, he’s a good example of free speech that I talked about in the previous page, ie he can’t be arrested, but I very much doubt he’d get hired by (or, would still be employed by) a large multinational company looking to improve its image.
