Isn't there a setting to turn off sacking? Not that you'd do it but it would help you avoid those Norwich-like situations.

Wow. I finished the league on 89 pts. Second. United went on an amazing run and finished the league on 94 points. They only lost twice all season. Would have won the league any other year had it not been for that.

Didn't lose in the league from the turn of the year until an epic 4-3 clash with City on the last day of the season. Was 3-1 down in 10 minutes. I scored the first goal too. Had an 88th minute Cavani lob tipped onto the bar. So close.

I struggled to overcome Swansea in the FA Cup. Had 14/7 - 3/1 shots at the end of normal time when it was 1-1, and they were only on the scoresheet thanks to M'Bengue's own goal. Won 2-1 eventually though.

Thought City were going to win it easily early on, they were F36 A 3 after 12 games and had won every game.

Cavani finished with 17 goals in 15 games in the league, 7 assists, 5 MoM, 7.83 average rating
20 in 20 overall, 10 assists, 7 MoM, 7.82 average rating.

Best buyable forward in the game by far.

Transfer window time ;)

Also - I ****ing hate Man City. They seriously have gone after like 10+ of my staff, and probably 5-10 players of mine as well. Absolute cockbags just like real life.

They have offered contracts to like 7 of my staff members in the space of 4 days.
 
Going to sell Hamsik, Eriksen, Hangeland, Cardozo.

Should get me around 40m for all that. 38m to start with + whatever they give me for finishing spot.

Maybe Rami for the CB slot. Hangeland has done very well, but he's slowish and 31. Rami is quick, is much faster, has a poorer jump but is 4 years younger.

Don't think I can get Gotze. Wanted M'Villa but they want too much. Maybe Axel Witsel. Stats are very impressive and he's much better than what he was in FM11. Not sure who else really. Squad is pretty good to be honest.
 
I've never really used the editor in past FM games, so was wondering if it was possible for example to make Andre Villas-Boas the assistant manager at Chelsea, so that when I start a new game with Chelsea, he is still at the club assisting me instead of becoming unemployed? Obviously he will never accept an assistant manager position in the game itself.

Using the pre-game editor (which you have to download through steam), yes.

Is the real time editor honestly that accurate? I'm in Jan 2014 and Ramsey already has reached his potential....

Rasey is -10 so will be given a random number. He is 157 CA and 180 PA in mine. Still only 21 so a lot of growing to do.

You could always 'delete' Hazard's injury ;)

2nd in EPL after 11 games on 21 points behind West Brom on 22. Managed to sign Eriksen, Alderwerield and striker called Darwin Quintero. Edited finances to have them like real life. Needed a massive clean-out and no-one wanted my players so Carroll,Downing,Adam,Carragher all released. Quintero scored 0 in 10 games, released him. Managed to sign Cavani on a free after falling out with club and Tevez is now on a free and I'm about to sign him.

Team looks like this:
Reina
Enrique-Agger-Alderwiereld-Kelly/Flanagan
Shelvey (DM)
Suso/Gerrard - Eriksen
Suarez - Henderson
Cavani

Then bench I have: Doni, Coates, Coady, Sterling, Robinson, Gerrard, Peterson (promoted from 18s and scored in first match, great young striker).

And still got Tevez and Gotze to come.
