I'm sure there's plenty more from countries such as the UK and New Zealand, but here's a few from Melbourne to kick things off.
  • Felix Strachov (Poland) - Reserves player 1960 to 1962
  • Glenn Ryan (USA) - Trialled in 1982
  • James Fahey (Ireland) - Trialled in 1982
  • Tom Grehan (Ireland) - Under 19's in 1989
  • Anthony Tohill (Ireland) - Under 19's in 1990, Reserves in 1991
  • Niall Buckley (Ireland) - Under 19's in 1991
  • Kevin Devine (Ireland) - VFL in 2001
  • Nicholas Walsh (Ireland) - VFL in 2002/03 (now the GWS High Performance Coach)
I'm most interested in the Felix Strachov story, he moved to Australia seven years previously and won the Melbourne B&F but couldn't break into a strong side. Am hoping Hastings Football Club where he played after leaving the Dees may be able to help.

Any players from obvious or obscure countries at other clubs? I can think of a few off the top of my head but will let fans of those clubs chip in first!

Ciaran Kilkenny (Ireland) Hawthorn - 2013 to make it an Irish quartet.

Aisake Ó hAilpín from Carlton.

Edit: Seems I was beaten. ;)

Geelong drafted an Irishman in 1989 by the name of Colum McManamon, but i'm not sure he even came to Australia let alone played a game.

Didn't Essendon have an African bloke trial with them at some point during Sheedy's tenure (might have been late '90s/early '00s)? I recall seeing a write-up about it somewhere with an action photo of him, but nothing ever really came of it.
Goaner Tutlan

Though I don't think he did much more than appear in this publicity photo.
I believe he play in the NTFL Reserves comp.

Dwayne Armstrong - Essendon in 1997 (?). Never played seniors. He played college football for Iowa State in 1991 and 1992.

This guy was one of the products of the pre season spin doctoring out of the Bombers in that era, same time approx every year with Sheeds getting more eccentric every year - numnut footy press seemed to print the press release verbatim.
