So, let's call it me, NT, NB, nuffers and Equus. Milky you could be backup should one of us die (in real life).
We just need a willing DM. And to pick the game. I say D&D 5e because that's the one I have books for. Also got Basic Fantasy but haven't played it. Have played dungeon world but don't have the book.
Any other suggestions?

I haven't got time to DM unfortunately.
Although I've never played 5th ed D&D I'll give it a go. I believe it's not as complicated as 3.5? I'll get the free 'rules lite' and have a look.

If I did it, it would be a series of encounters from the web without too much of a story in there. It really is a case of - this would be fun in theory, but how much time and experience does the DM have to make it actually fun and compelling.
We could use a system where everyone has a chip they can hand in at any time to tell the DM what direction they'd like the game to go in next. Once everyone has used their chip, all players get another one. You could hand them in privately and talk about your idea.
