Stupid thread, we have had no forward line issues since round 1.
Going into the forward line:
- Don't lead deep into the pockets
- Don't kick it deep into the pockets
- If there are no leads in the forward line, kick it to the top of the square.
- Don't have Paul Johnson as the lone Demon in the forward 50, FFS.
Once in the forward line:
- Mark the ball when it comes near you
- Kick straight when you have ball
- Chase hard if opposition obtain ball
First half against Adelaide?
bring in... petterd, Jurrah, wonna, morton and watts
Stat of the Day
That's the 18th time under Bailey that we have kicked zero or one goals in the first quarter. In the same time frame Richmond have done it 9 times, West Coast 11 and Fremantle 8.
Chuck in Neitz and the Ox and we're looking even better.
I would seriously consider trading Matthew Bate. He'd have considerable value. I'm sick of him putting in a good performance every 3 games and then 2 shockers. His best games aren't even amazing.

Pressure all over was soft yesterday, but yeah, love a bit of forward-line pressure. Sure, we might not mark it every time it comes into the forward line, big deal, but when no one follows up by pressuring the defenders it's a pretty soft effort.Going into the forward line:

Serious? ouch....
Throw Petterd, Jurrah and Wonaeamirri in there and suddenly our forward line looks far more potent. Unlucky that our best forwards have been out with injury.
McPhee and Clarke are still ahead of PJ.
Epic Failure is in a league of his own.
didnt get to watch the game btw
