Royals will be donning the Maroon and Yellow this weekend in anticipation of Subiaco Defeating West Perth to remain 4th spot. A Win to the Falcons and they replace there rivals in the 2009 finals series.

Anyone think the Falcons can defeat the Mighty Lions? Up until very recently West Perth were a massive boggy side for the Lions especially come Finals time but things have turned, although being played at Arena Joondalup I beleive the Lions will win regardless as They want to sew up 2nd Spot & the double chance.

Should the Falcons Heavily beat Subiaco (Unlikely) and The Swans trounce the Bulldogs , the Swannies will slip into second.

Times like these I would love to be in Perth to watch the game.

Oobbie Doobie C'mon Subi :D

Subi, without Fletcher, are vulnerable Crooza, so I can certainly see the Falcons winning. I would imagine many EP fans would trek to Joondie to support against the Falcons!

I had one of the EP reserves coach rush to me on Sunday, at Auskick, adn tell me he will see me in 2 weeks time, he was that confident WP won't beat Subi.

Fletcher is a massive lose for Subi.....The Cardies are favourites now IMO.
No chance, Subi won't tamper with their form on the eve of the finals, they are at close to full strength, Ali Pickett has come into good form, he's just been cruising all year, young Bristow is a jet, and they have Stenglein who they wouldn't have expected at the start of the year. Perth will win and the Cardies will slip to 6th.

Subi are nowhere near as strong as the last 3 years. Last weeks wet conditions suited their style of play. They have little leg speed, but are a group of well skilled, well drilled players. I would think they will struggle with Souths and Swans in dry, fast conditions, if they get to play them in those conditions. Swans will have trouble with EP, if they make the finals, and Souths and Subi and Souths will be troubled by Subi and Swans, so all round, it should make a very interesting finals series!:thumbsu::)

Well done cardies! I have always had a soft-spot for WP - ever since Brian Adamson told me when I was 11 that I was a better kick and mark than the group of boys I was playing kick to kick with at the time! ;)
