I think Public Leagues can have infinite teams, whereas Private Leagues are limited to 16 (unless you have "flexi league pass")

Cool that might explain it. I did get an email saying my league was complete so that sounds promising.

Sadly, I selected "Open" league type in the settings... and read it has to be a full league of 16 teams...
(Open league means unlimited number of people(teams) can join)

You can add Pendles, Cotchin, Sloane etc teams to help make up the numbers.

Click on the tiny gear icon in the my leagues area (to the right of the title of the league). Then on the side menu click players, and then add celebrity team.
