Perkins said he was sick and tired of people taking the piss out of Aborigines.

Read it again. It's a joke.

The phrase "taking the piss out of", means "making fun of someone", but in the context of the quote, it is applied literally, since to be drug tested you need a urine sample.

Interesting side note that if they took the 'piss' out of Freeman and ran it through a pregnancy test it would come out positive so my mate who works at Athletics Australia told me today.

I think Cathy winning gold was great, she deserved it but all this hyp over her afterwards I think is rediculous. There are many more women that won gold at the olympics but you don't hear about them. She is a great rolemodel for aborigines and people in general but don't forget the other people, like Susie O'Neil, equalled the most olympic medals by an aussi didn't she and got chosen to be on the ioc players board or whatever. Good on you Cathy but congrats to the others as well.

Think about that statement, Sabre. It's what is called a generalisation.

Now isn't generalisation really at the philosophical core of racism. Saying that all Pie supporters are racist is like saying all indigenous people are drunks.

There's no doubt that Collingwood lost a lot of credibility over the Winmar incident in 1993 and McAllister's poor handling of it. And I've got no doubt that there is a strong racist element among Collingwood supporters. But racism is not an exclusively Collingwood phenomenon. I'm sure if we sit in a footy crowd anywhere in Australia, regardless of who is playing, you'll hear plenty of bigotry from the mouths of supporters.

Don't blame Collingwood. We didn't invent racism. And we certainly don't have a monopoly on it.

Perhaps when you can produce some hard evidence to support your statement that Collingwood supporters are more racist that any other supporters, then maybe we can take your opinion seriously. Until then, I think your comments can be filed under the heading of unsubstantiated codswallop.
