Imagine Gourdis debuting on Pavlich?
What an inception against an out of form Docker!
Why not debut him against one of the best, been in good form in the ressies, so its not like he is coming in cold.

With Cousins in hospital I'd only make the one change this week: Cousins out McGuane/Gourdis in.

B: Moore McGuane/Gourdis Thursfield
HB: Newman Deledio Connors
C: Edwards Jackson White
HF: Nason Riewoldt Astbury
F: Collins Griffiths King
R: Graham Martin Cotchin
I/C: Vickery Tuck Tambling Farmer.

If McGuane isn't right then Gourdis to make his debut.

no change for me RT. If the Cuz dont make it, which for me is highly unlikely, then i would be tipping a return to the fray of Mitch Morton allowing Astbury to be swung into defence.
We dont need to go in top heavy against this mob. 2 talls with an option is enough. Gus can hang with Sandilands if they move him into the FL. Moore can run with Pav and the rest is pretty basic with Thurst patrolling the area and the guns on the prerimeter. IMO they have more worries than we do when it comes to handling our on ballers and our FL. ;)

Anyone know what end at Etihad teh Tiger squad will be at. And any information on this for all clubs. I would like to find out which is the 'home end' or normal end for certain teams, would be great..

Looking forward to the clash.

Interestingly, only one match played under the roof at Etihad in R4 of the 2000 season where the Tiges were pipped by a point 87-88.

Yep and Richos foot got stuck under a pack and copped a very bad foot injury that had him out for most of the season. Ottens and Daffy suspended by club for that match and had we won we could have made finals.

Modra kicked some goals that Sunday also.

Nahas (31 touches), Rance and Webberley were the top 3 for Coburg last weekend. White (9 touches) and Tambling (12) need to lift their output with kids earning a chance in the seconds. Guessing Cousins will be forced out.

Out: Cousins, Tambling, White
In: Nahas, Rance, Webberley

B: Moore Thursfield Farmer
HB: Newman Deledio Connors
C: Edwards Jackson Collins
HF: Nason Riewoldt Astbury
F: Nahas Griffiths King
R: Graham Martin Cotchin
I/C: Vickery Tuck Webberley Rance.

What's the story with Nahas? We've had trouble with small forwards particularly without our main-man Broughton in defence, and I thought his game last time round was very strong. Has he continued with some injury or just out-of-favour?

Have to say there's some really encouraging signs for Richmond. I think it doesn't take much for a Freo supporter to recognise you guys are doing what we had to do over the last few years. Maybe you can pinch a few scalps on the way. We would want you to knock off Collingwood (Rnd17) and The Sinners (Rnd21) later on too. :)

Dangerous Dockers?, no, Terrifying Tiges!

It's bloody fantastic for the competition. Not confident at all, but I will be lucky enough to be at Docklands for the match. :thumbsu:

So Nahas had 31 touches... where is he in the best at Coburg? How many of those were turnovers? We do not need at this point in time a player like Nahas in the team! You say White and Tambling? Matt White has amazing leg speed and unlike Nahas when White is in a contest he will keep his feet and have a first, second and third effort... As for Tambling.. He had a shocker! correct me if im wrong but would you say anything if a Jack Riewoldt or Trent Cotchin had a bad game? No it is only because it is Richard Tambling!

For me this week i think that two players will push for selection, and they will be Luke McGuane and Nathan Foley.

Why does a team need two or three changes when it has finally all come together!? GO YOU TIGERS!!

Are you serious? We don't need a small forward when our best small forward is a first year averaging 1 goal per game? We desperately need a gun small forward! Last year he showed promise, should give him the opportunity when he's earnt it.

White did nothing and he's not established and proven like a Riewoldt/Cotchin so it's a completely different story. I'de rather reward Webberley when he was unlucky to be dropped in the first place. 9 touches from a mid in a win is awful.

Tambling hasn't only had 1 bad game, he's been average at best in recent weeks and that's against struggling sides.

Richmond cheer squad always sit at the Bourke street end, the Pies & Bombers also use this end when they are the home team. Saints, Dogs, Blues & Roos invariably use the LaTrobe street end when they are the home team.

Nahas also had 6 goal assists and 1 goal 2 behinds. Nahas will give just as many repeat efforts as White, but will actually get to some contests and kick some goals. He's also a lot younger and has development left.

Very silly observations. Yes Tambling was our worst again and if they were to drop somebody then it would be him but who says they want to drop someone . Perfect replacement for Cuz is Foley , if Foley not fit I would be looking at Contin or Webberley. In saying that they might just bring McGuane in if fit and give Lids more time in the middle.

so you reckon we'd promote contin from the thirds RT:ol.. would be webberely I reckon, foley is still out and Nahas is on the outer...MM may even be a shot

Why dont they make sense? First player to come back regardless has to be the best we have out, and that is McGuane. Probably got the order of the other two wrong, but im just hanging to see the Goo play.

Why would you swap 3 smalls for 2 KPD and a small?

That's why they don't make sense.
