Switta has actually been quite important to us, I just wasn't sure he was any more with Bolton and Reid coming in.

Yes it was noticeable that whilst he would still draw and engage the first tackler he was then prepared to give the first option immediately upon engagement…and didnt he look better for it.
Ras and Johnno will both make it. Huge bonus for us.

Great win. Didn’t watch live, just watched the replay (I did fast forward a bit).
Loved the tackling and pressure, that really should be non negotiable every game. That Voss tackle for his first goal and Johnno’s tackle on the wing were outstanding.
Treacy goalless but he did some good work and his presence was important.
Clark, Jackson, Wagner, Bolton and Brayshaw the best players.

The Pies game is when it started coming together. We did most things right. I was pumped after that game.

Its kind of weird to say how valuable Reid is to the team without him having bags of goals, possessions, clearances etc (despite his couple of bags and his score involvements)

Given he's a first year player - what impresses me most is his calm, compossed, mature and intelligent nature.

If given the choice of Ashcroft or Reid - I'd take Reid all day - purely because of his decision making skills.

How he disguised that chip and chase in the last quarter to gain territory and burn time was excellent

When did you get married brother?

It’s a bit of a joke between my partner and I. She was newly divorced when we met and said she’s never getting married again & hates the title “wife”.

7 years now and we bought ourselves rings this year that we wear on the wedding finger.

I sometimes jokingly refer to her as wife & she kind of likes it now & calls me husband but we’ve never formally walked down the aisle.

Buying me a Fyfe bobble head was a kind of “wife” joke from her so I said when I posted about it here she’s getting the wife title.
