I have done some digging around some stats in the off season for some interesting facts and stats about Freo and tweeted out a few this morning.

Feel free to contribute to this thread for anything interesting you know for records/stats/anomalies.

Freo Fun Fact #1:
Matthew Pavlich holds the records for most career goals by a current AFL player. He is 3 ahead of Buddy and soon to approach the 600 milestone.

Freo Fun Fact #6

Tendai Mzungu holds the FFC record for catches taken in a BBL Grand Final. 1

This is 1 more catch than any other Fremantle player. Record unlikely to be broken.

And is actually his 2nd catch at a cricket game as a spectator

I think you read it wrong, I don't think that record'll be broken for a long time.
When you think about the nature of a debutant, its in a rebuilding side, which in turn get flogged alot. Hence it is quite a big acheivement for Hannath the Mammoth to be involved in 8 games before he was in a losing side.
Stats obtained here: http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/alltime/misc_players.html#13

Conversely Greg Broughton was involved in 9 losses before his first win (the most by a Docker)

On the flipside, since we're going to be unbeaten this year, we'll have to wait a few seasons to see which debutant ends up breaking the record (eg. Brady Grey - 35 games played before a loss)

Could really be the fairytale finish for Pav this year, if he retires after this season he could bring up the 300 games, 600 goals milestones and premiership captain all in his final year.

Fun Fact #7
Just on Barlow, pretty sure he still hasn't lost to Geelong yet in his 4 years of footy.

Probably only Nick Riewoldt deserves that as much as Pav. Hope the guy gets it done.

According to our Wikipedia page, we still do not have a Brownlow, Coleman, and Norm Smith medalist. Really hope to see Pav's name against one of those as well.

Never been on top of the ladder during home and away either. Closest has been second in round 10 2010, which was also first reached that year in round 1.

Fun Fact #10
I may need to confirm this one, but Cameron Sutcliffe has started as a sub more than any other player in the AFL.
If not he would have the highest "Green Vest to Game" ratio over his career: 12/25
(Kane Mitchell is the closest I've found, starting green 8 out of 18 games)

Fun Fact #11
By my reckoning, 26 of the 176 players to have ever played for FFC is indigenous (i.e. one indigenous for less than seven nonindigenous). Not sure how other clubs compare but I'd imagine this would have to be close to the smallest ratio
