Has anybody got a clue as to the likely spine of Freo assuming Pavlich goes back to SA. (2003 and beyond).

I've heard Polak may be better as a back as opposed to forward?

My gut feeling would be;
FB Polak
CHB Croad
CHF Brown
FFWD Longmuir.

Does this sound reasonable or not. I'm wondering 2 things I spose. Will Croad stay in the forward line if Pavlich goes?
Will Polak go the Forward line? Longmuir looks set to roam around the fwd line somewhere?

Thoughts appreciated...

Peter....

:D

Not bad
But I think this looks better

FB:McPharlin
HB:Polak
C :Haselby
HF:Croad
FF:Longmuir

Now that in all honesy could be a aweseome spine that will be unrivaled in the future.
Even with the loss of Pavlich
Throw Pavlich in there and suddenly it looks like this

FB:McPharlin
HB:Pavlich
C :Haselby
HF:Polak
FF:Croad / Longmuir (Double headed)

With everyone one of those players able to play on either side of the ground.

Fremantle have a loft of good young talls.

Pavlich
J.Longmuir
Croad
McPharlin
Waterhouse
Brown
Polak
Simmonds

All are 24 or younger....except Clive

Bell is 26. Farmer is 24. Hasleby is 20.

Who cares they can play anywhere the coach wants them,a player should be able to play anywhere.
