Fletcher did about half the session before hanging around on the ground and not doing much. Lets just say he may well play but he didnt convince me totally that i will be seeing him on sunday.

Lucas , also only did half the session before spending some time talking to the doc and doing some goal kicking.

Davey did a bit of a fitness test today. Things are looking good for his retuen a bit earlier if his arm is ok.

Demspey joined in with the players not in the senior squad and did a bit of ball work.

JJ is currently missing training becasue of a groin problem.

For those interested , which wont be many, Coles ankle op went ok.

If you had to guess, what would you say the chances are of Lucas playing on Sunday?

cheers Ant,

let's hope Lucas and Fletch both get up, I think Lucas will be a bigger out, in this sort of game Fletch really doesn't have a player that needs his attention. If we can control Buddy their forwardline isn't much.

He also got more, better supply from the middle than they could stop.

Sunday wont be won by (Fletch-Mal-McPhee-NLM) beating Franklin. If we win it, its because Macca / Stanton / Jobe / Pev / JJ / Winda and others applied great midfield pressure and screwed up the supply.

Agreed. Our best football is played when we're winning our fair share of clearances. Winda has almost become our most important player with his ability to break the lines and deliverance into the forward line.

As long as we put pressure on Hawthorns delivery into the forward line, we should ensure that Buddy & Co. don't have a day out like last time.
