Is gonna sound funny, but will gumbleton (when he is finally right) get a gig in our side (2008) or will he have to wait in the wings, because Neagle is playing that FF position well, Lucas CHF and Lloyd and Mcphee the floating third talls, I honestly dont think he will despite what every one says, dont drop neagle, he kicked two, but set up at least another 2 with his attack on the ball and caused a spillage, where our smalls (and talls) were their to crum.
but on todays game, was awesome to see Welsh finally find his spot, as a hard in and under tagger type player, last 3 weeks easily in our best,
Monfries, best overall game at the club without a doubt, was crumbing goals, setting them up, marking on the wing, he did it all,
Hille, have to say took the younger Kruezer to the cleaners, and Cloke, he aint no ruckmen, was outstanding
Centre clearances, was awesome, really found the hard trench work, good to watch, Mcveigh, watson, Lonergan, Stanton, really good, they are really starting to settle in well together, and we have options to rest these guys with others to come in.

reimers is fast gaining the attention of the football world (outside of the attention he already has from essendon supporters). and it seems to be helping his own game, which is great news for the club!
I just wish our guys wouldn't post rubbish here, slagging off at the Carlton players. Don't they know that detracts from our guys, who showed heaps of heart in that final quarter.
When Carlton hit the front, their supporters went berserk, and we looked like stumbling again. But our guys responded with plenty of heart - dug deep, and every player stepped up a notch. Our guys ran harder, decided that they owned that Sherrin, and played for keeps.
Why can't we concentrate on the positives of our game, and forget about slanging off at Carlton?

Throughly enjoyed this win today... So many good things to enjoy about the game... I had to watch this 5 to 1 outnumbered by blues fans ...So funny to watch them inflate after coming back and then deflate after burning them back off again....
DO you think they caught back up to us because we were being defensive? then we had to attack again because we were actually behind...

WAS ____ING AWESUM. For mine it was the best game of the year. Dons supporters went nuts in the final ten minutes. Considering we were out numbered 5 to 1 I think we did very well.
It was so good shutting down carlton supporters after they hit the front and thought they were going to win.

Loved seeing Lloydy's huge mark in the last quarter, and then to slot through the set shot!
Look!! I don't want to dredge a lot of nonsense, but if you have the time, perhaps the following posts 19, 20 in response to 19, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31 are just nonsense, and would spoil that great feeling I have when we won today, if I really took them seriously.
Why not just concentrate on the positives? Our guys played really well today, far better than they did in the game against The Eagles last week. They really lifted, showed tons of heart, and why not just let the good vibes flow guys!! Hell!! we won big time today!!
