Ashfield coach Andy Hale has walked out on the club before selection on thursday Jason King has been appointed coach for the rest of the season.It was good to play some cricket ashfield c grade headed out to te long grass of diggers after making 115 on a slow track the ashfield boys were confident of defending that and did bowling out diggers 1st for 61 how times have changed well done hughes 1st ton of macs??

Obviously no faith in the Riddell boys. They have started the season well, but it appears you don't rate them.
And the Rupo vs. United game??? I'll assume that is just a typo, United have been flying so far this year.

Some great games coming up this week in McIntyre.
Lets have a quick look.

Wallan vs Riddell
Wallan 1.80 Riddell 2.20
Wallan talked up highly leading into two day cricket. Much is said about their bowling attack. It appears that Riddell may be a little exposed in the two day version.

Macedon vs Gisborne
Macedon 1.25 Gisborne 3.50
Gisborne are great value in what could be considered something of a local derby. Potenially a battle to save relegation both sides will be desperate for these six points.

Romsey vs Rupertswood
Romsey 1.80 Rupertswood 2.20
Another close game. Will be interesting to see if Rupertswood can bat the 75 overs. Romsey always struggle to perform in two dayers. Punters should be warned against punting on this one.

United vs Marsh
United 1.90 Marsh 2.05
A prelude to a likely grand final match. Premier sides of the competition. If you know some inside info then this is the game for you to punt on.

Don't know why he left, BUT word has it that he was approached by Hughes (United) and he said yes he'd love to come to United then went to Diggers....... BIG FISH IN SMALL POND syndrome... Gee Giggers know how to get them don't they.....

Andy Hale was doing a fine job. But I believe there was a bit of discontent amongst some senior players that did not like too much change. Anyway Andy has been a great contributor for the club and good luck to him in his future endevours.

Interesting games going on here:

*Can Riddell chase down 180odd and prove they are worthy of a spot in the 4. Very dependant on JMac getting amongst them.
*Gisborne unlikely to chase down 220
*Rupo - the suprise packet posting a decent score against Romsey. With L.Cox gone Romsey relying heavily on Lock to get them close.
*United - Clear cut flag favourites. New recruit showing his worth. Posted a huge score without the usual suspects doing all the damage.

Still, having looked at the forecast maybe the $4.50 draw was were the money should have been all along!
 
Andy was doing top job all senior players were happy with his progress dont know why he left i know a few clubs are going after him rumour has it he is going back to ashfield as a player after crissy
 
It was good to have the cricket back last week only to be ruined by more rain 4 wins could get u into finals this year the way things are going.Cant wait for some better weather 20/20 comp is starting soom hope all teams are ready for it it should e the best 20/20 season yet its always good to see the lesser name teams get to bash it out on the bigger stage BRING ON SOME CRICKET
