Cringeworthy americanised entertainment isn't for everyone

I'm tipping you're too old then.

Every club was given a mandate to provide pre game intertainment.
Now I'd personally prefer a reserves game. But the new generation aren't interested.

Give us some ideas as to what you would see better for pre game.

And btw, I'm a bit tired of the use of 'Americanisation' by Aussies.
They do actually do plenty of stuff better than us. And game entertainment is one.

I went to hockey and basketball games in the States earlier in the year and it was cringeworthy. It's not something I want to see us trying to emulate. But clearly they think there's a market for it.

Btw, the tigers have the best pre game with the drums. That's very cool.
I don't mind essendons where they show a countdown clock and show the players in the rooms and as the players hit the turf it's zero.

Kids love that build up stuff.

I hate it.

'Yards gained' has suddenly found its way into our game. Why? It's not necessary.

And btw, we use metric here. It's metres.

Commentators now fall over themselves to insert the latest atrocity into the language. A big reason among many why they should be machine-gunned.
