Maybe the Geelong Football Club should be renamed the GeeLING Football Club.

The guy was awesome on the weekend, as were your whole team. I know its only round 1, but i'll give you the hot tip, the Catters are looking the goods. Good luck for the rest of the season (but i doubt you guys will need it!!)

I'd second the notion of the renaming but I would also start a petition not to put his photo on the emblem!

lol, I just love that from the five minute mark of the first quarter he looks stuffed yet he just hunches the shoulders and takes those little steps on the way to another 30 possesions. What a CHAMPION.

I'm surprised more teams don' t put a tight tag on him as he seems to just float of the packs getting cheap possys.

He creates alot of forward moves with his touches so letting him roam around as he pleases is stupid.

I don't think he would be as an effective player if other clubs tagged him week in and out.

The thing is with that, say with Coughlan tagging him as he did on Sunday, Ling can just go straight to FF if he wants. Geelong has another good midfielders to cover him, take a good opposition tagger out of the play, and Ling can kick a goal or 2 as well. That said, I'm looking forward to how he plays against W.C this week. Didn't have the best game last year there, and IIRC looked very slow over there in the wet.
