Spot on.kirky said:First point - thats crap. What we don't want is a non-contact game and thats what happens when you turn it into a high scoring basketball type of game. This game was for the footy purist.
Second point - give me one compelling reason why they should do this.

No Teamsong after the game - hoe many adds to they squeeze in when we shuld have been seeing the players rejoicing - no Interviews with Roos - no post game analysis - no press conference.
Bloody awful- I'm now going to watch it on Foxtel and fill in the missing parts
??? Better then 97/98?????Stiffy_18 said:Dead serious. The game had everything. Its tough and hard, courageous and close. The best GF I have seen for a VERY long time.
Roberts-Thompson just needed a few touches in the last quarter. Fell away but swept everything that came his waydyertribe said:Have to agree.
While the Ch10 commentary team were wetting themselves with his number of clearances, how many of his touches actually hurt Sydney?
That said, I don't think anyone else did enough to top him. A very even match with no individual standout.
As a crows supporter of course 97/98 were better and obviously much more enjoyable.PerthCrow said:??? Better then 97/98?????
It was a great game and I didnt know who would win until Leo took the mark and Quartermaine squeaked out his comments...knew then the siren was close
I cringed when he did that. That would have been a monumental stuff up had WC won. Fortunately for him, the moment that gets remembered from this game will be Barry's match saving mark in the last seconds.cro_Magnum said:The most relieved man would have to be Luke Ablett. Probably the worst ******** up in a grand final in recent history. He would've felt physically ill if they'd lost.

We (Supporters here on BF) were the ones that complained the loudest about it, and unlike a number on this board we also do not change our tune just because our team does it.kirky said:Well, your lot would know about that or don't you remember.

Sydney are boring, Crows are boring and Choco was disgusting when he did it.
Good old Sheeds, he is always good for a pearlermacca23 said:Talking about Choco I nearly wet myself at one of Sheedy's comments re Choco shown on Ch 10 on the last 24 hours.
They asked Sheedy what he thought about Choco saying that Port were interested in Mark Johnson.
Sheedy's reply was "Mark says a lot of things. Perhaps he should have pulled that tie a bit tighter."![]()

Second point. Football is slowly but surely becoming bo-oring. No players in your attacking half is a joke at the best of times. It is a bigger joke when you do it week in week out as part of your team strategy. Without using the interchange bench 40 odd times in 3 quarters it cannot be done.
macca23 said:WW - that telecast was nothing short of a disgrace.
On top of all the things you mentioned, at times in the play we viewers had no fkg idea where the ball was - thanks to shocking camera work. That amateurish shot of O'Loughlin shooting for goal in the 1st quarter, I think it was, taken from the full length of the ground away, beats everything i've ever seen before.
All we saw was a red ant in the distance - O'Loughlin - and no chance of seeing the ball from that range.
For all our complaints about Eddie Everywhere, Channel 9 p*ss all over 10 in the camera work department.
Ch 10 treat us in footy with the same contempt they treat viewers of their reality shows, by dishing up B grade crap immersed in ads.
