The way Patton kicked that reminded me of the great Tony Lockett.
Actually watching Patton´s career gives me a few answers regarding Paddy´s future.
Patton´s had some bad injuries and some bad luck like Paddy´s had but is doing the stuff a No. 1 pick should do.
Very good player now. Just needed alot of time.

Yeah, that 50 drove me nuts. Just call play on. Who needs the umpires to be blowing their whistle warning them that he's about to call play on. Either the guy has run out of time or he hasn't. The whistle is getting way overused, as is instruction from the umpires.

Don't you like the way the media is already saying the Giants have revenge for the prelim final. A win to get into the grand final vs just a win in home and away , gee I know which one I would take . Stupid media.

It's like the umpires asking who is going up who cares as long as there is only one up at a time that's all that matters . Why do they have to say who's going up ? As long as there is only one it doesn't matter. It's becoming all about the umpires . And don't get me started about that 50 paid against Joey last week that cost us a goal because he misheard something and what he thought he heard was such a soft thing anyway . It's no wonder the fans are mad at the umpires when they pay a 50 because their feelings might be hurt a little. Are they mice or men .

Just watched whistle blowers from round 4 , Shane Kersten I think gets the ball about 70metres out and just bombs it long towards an open goal area . The kick isn't straight and the ball rolls out of bounds by about 2 metres . The umpire runs in and pays deliberate out of bounds . He was having a shot for goal who kicks towards the goal to get it to run out of bounds deliberately? Then the idiot with Nat Edwards says he made the right decision because the player wasn't trying to kick a goal. Bloody hell they are stupid.
