Brian Taylor needs to shut the **** up.
I reckon I'm in the minority here but I actually don't mind him. Probably more a reflection of the current commentator roster.

Have a look at comparisons between Boak and Dunstan, and Wingard and Billings in their first seasons. Yes we don't have a Gray or a Wines, but do Hawthorn have a Wines?Port's midfield - Ryder, Boak, Hartlett, Wingard; Gray and Wines not even playing tonight!
Not sure we even have one midfielder who is in the class of those guys...
We're going to need Longer to develop into as good as Ryder (possible);
Billings as good as Wingard (possible but unlikely);
Dunstan as good as Wines (possible);
Steven as good as Gray (not likely);
Armo as good as Book (not possible).
Leaves us 3/4 classy mids short... think that has to be where we focus our draft/trades this next 2-3 years
You could argue that when Roughy plays on the ball, he's the Wines typeHave a look at comparisons between Boak and Dunstan, and Wingard and Billings in their first seasons. Yes we don't have a Gray or a Wines, but do Hawthorn have a Wines?

I think Dunstan is our Wines and we still need a Boak. Their first years are remarkably similar, actually. Check this out, it's pretty weird.
Kicks, handballs, disposals, behinds, tackles, clangers, marks inside 50, clearances, rebound 50s, and one percenters are all exactly the same or .1 off.
Dunstan beats Wines, some marginally so, in Marks, goals, uncontested positions, effective disposals, and percent of effective disposals. Wines is beating Dunstan in contested posession by .7. They even both spent about 70% on ground. It's pretty remarkable how similar they are statistically.

do you have their TOG %, as its one thing i am worried about, so hoping you'd put me at ease

They weren't losing at home by 50+ to sides as mediocre as West Coast and Richmond level of bad last year.Lions a copy of last year, start slowly due to injury then get their list together and win some games late, showing promise for next year. Still really need a forward.
