I'd be shocked if the Hawks didn't win. Freo are one of the worst top of the ladder teams I've ever seen. They've been so lucky this year with their draw and then getting to play half of Sydney (and nearly losing) in the first week.

But gonna be tough against Johno Thurston. Hes a freak of a player.
Will be intersesting to see who influences the game more. Cronk or Thurston.
Cant wait. Nice weather tomoz. Plenty of frothies.

I know there are some here who will forever rate Dawson and what he brought to the club, but for me he is one of the most overrated and longest running spuds of all time.

Had schoolmates who made the second string Storm side back at their inception, so also hoping they win it, even if half the side now is from QLD and the other half from NSW.

I hope the Hawks win this match and lose the GF, but in saying that, Dawson is a competent defender he is just prone to seeing a ruckman trotting up to him and immediately soiling his pants as he retreats to guard ze space around him in the case the lanky bastard screws up. After he's changed his shorts of course.
