I did not that Goodwin did also leave himself a get out clause that permits him to swing Petty forward at any time though.

That's the way I was leaning too but he was actually very good last year. As good as Lever, while May was up and down a bit.

With Petty back it’s definitely Tmac as depth if all key defenders are available. He was really good last season Tmac.

Agree.

Love the Melkman, but if we role into 2025 with TMac and Melk starting on the field then I don't know what it is we're hoping to achieve or how we ever expect to develop any young players to replace them.

I’m a bit nervous about the messages coming from the club. The usual wank about the young group coming through, but a heavy leaning on “back playing finals footy”.
