Unfortunately they can't move most of the competition here unless we go into the midweek matches pattern like last year. There's only 1 stadium capable of hosting games. Subiaco Oval is now a school, the WACA would need substantial redevelopment to host games again (has been on the cards to host WAFL matches either next season or the year after though), and the next tier of grounds would be Leederville Oval and Lathlain Park that are nowhere near up to standard with facilities.

Could split the competition with Adelaide though if they're keen for crowds. Think they'd fair somewhat better than the under 1,000 people who attended some of the matches on the Gold Coast last year.

For the players - things like post game ice baths etc are normally in the changerooms (well they are at Optus anyway). Not sure if such things are in place at suburban grounds.

Plus they probably can't vouch for the quality of the playing surface this far into winter.

However it's more from a media perspective. Camera positioning and angles, adequate commentary box and sound facilities, catering etc.

Lathlain was redeveloped a couple of years ago when the Eagles made their base there so might be ok. But Leederville is rather out of date.

I was going to say I looked up the AFLW grounds and Lathlain was one this season so you think it’d be able to. Fremantle Oval is the other which hosted AFLW.

Was really hoping to see Jones play again this season, at the very least his 300th with the win against Richmond was fantastic.

Considering a bunch of our fringe guys haven’t taken their chance it’ll be him or Melksham as finals injury sub I reckon.

I reckon he’s exactly what you want as the medical sub in a big final - experience and hardness.

I’m not sold on “hardness”, but experience makes sense. That said I’d prefer someone more versatile as the Med sub.

Pretty strong sign Jones played 6 straight then was straight out after his milestone game. Came on as medi sub against North and hasn’t really been close since.

His best chance of being seen again is if we have banked a top 4 spot and he gets gifted a game v Adelaide or Geelong.

Would have Sparrow, Jordan, AVB even ahead of him for the injury sub quite easily. Jones is too slow and makes our inside kicking much worse unfortunately.

Thank you! Looked even better a week ago when i cooked it . It’s a jamaican style cooked in coconut milk, gonna ramp up the quinoa and tomatoes next time i think, then move onto trying to make some kinda mexican rice and beans next

Top 4 this year is probably the least important it's ever been, we are gonna end up making it and then playing a home QF in Perth, before either having to play a 'home' semi there or spending 2 weeks in isolation most likely before a prelim

Tomorrow (I guess tonight for your wrong timers) is a test of the mental toughness and fortitude of this team. The weird combination of being there all week in some quasi quarantine state, along with getting a couple of really good results in other games, means I expect a massive letdown from the team.
