Just looked up 186.

Jordie McKenzie had 25 disposals, 10 clearances, and 8 tackles.

Probably the hex colour codes of the seats, or similar.

I love that, imagine headless sitting there in his Melbourne scarf blissfully smiling at seats and being told to get out by security.

Security told me they didn't know what the hex colour codes were.

They also told me the ground needed to be cleaned.

This is, naturally, a cheeky little lie; I would never interact with another human to whom I'd not been formally introduced.

same bro same. i know the vibe :fist:

I reckon I sat in the stands for like 30-40 minutes after the game. Was quite peaceful.

Bombers loss worse for me too, was at a 21st that night and checked the scores halfway through and was mortified, and the Essendon supporters berating us as they we walked, what a horrific footy club they are.
I was at a pub in Essendon watching that game

It was pretty ****ing bad

I think Tmac is the only player on our list left who played in that game. I'm kind of glad there's a link between that game and our premiership.
And Jones

For all of his faults that bloke at least gave 100% every ****ing game

Also involved in the Salem goal against the Bombers, which was a great moment.

I liked him.

I was at 186, but there was a Queen's Birthday that I feel was far worse. Maybe Wattsy's debut? One where we got absolutely humiliated and then the press for days was that we didn't deserve the big stage, and it was hard to argue...

That Essendon loss was probably the one. I was working at a ski hill and it was maybe the first time ever I didn't check a game at all. Looked at the score first thing in the morning and realised the season was dead already. Seriously deflating that we were a worse team trying to win than when we were tanking.

I think the worst for me was three-quarter time against the Giants a few weeks later - a game we ended up winning by like five goals. :moustache:

But I remember wondering through that break if we'd ever win a game again.

This game and a three point win against the Bulldogs (where they must have kicked the last 6-7 goals or something, and were coming hard) were our only wins for the year, I think.

Pretty close to a completely winless 2013.

I wanted us to lose that at 3qtr time. Wouldn't have mattered in the end but I was like **** we aren't learning anything from this

Yeah, I would have been sort of interested in a winless season at the time.

Don't think you learn anything getting belted by 10+ goals every week. Just soul destroying. Roos knew as soon as he came in more than half the list was a lost cause.

I ment more like we could have learnt that Neeld sucked and we should have sacked him earlier.

Not much difference since he was gone about 6 weeks later anyway. Only after PJ came in, too. Schwab got sacked after the Essendon game.

Best call David King ever made was calling for Neeld to be sacked like a month into his first season.
