Are you interested in boring, cocaine-free corporate parties where no one cheats on their mrs?

Hire Bartlett Workplace.

should call it "wussworkplace.com.au" .. "Cant I just go to a party where there is no drugs or alcohol and everyone has a fun time?"

I'm not going to follow any of this shit because the minute it includes a board they are all ****ing privileged idiots who wouldn't survive a day in any real meritocracy.

Where was I going with this? i dunno, I think it should read a "nice time" Headless

Goody should ask Bartlett to come down and take a look at our environment
He did. Security didn't let him in on account of being a ****ing dickhead. There's one for you @MickWarner

If the worst allegation in the arsenal is that Goody got pissed up with some friends after a grand final...

:drunk:
No no, he got pissed and "maybe on another substance". She didn't even know. Bizarre.

i'd rather deal with a 100 McLardy's than 1 Bartlett. Part of a flawed adminstration at the time but that guy cared enough for the club, His ego didn't get in the way to the point where even when he goes peacefully into the night at least when he comes back he's offering us a partnership/sponsership

Bartlett got everyone the wrong way at the end of his presidency but could have left with dignity, gets the salt after we win a flag and has been undermining us since to save face. Now everyone views him as pathetic

And they're all 80+ years old. They can't drink or take drugs anymore. They've had theirs in their youth. And they listen to retro music :D

Board put out a statement:
THE BOARD of the Melbourne Football Club unequivocally refute the unsubstantiated, historical and outrageous accusations against Simon Goodwin and other Club leaders as published in today’s Herald Sun.

The untested and unproven claims were made by Ms Laspas in a statement she prepared to support her partner, Mr Bartlett, in legal proceedings that were discontinued by him. The views expressed by Ms Laspas are her recollection of historical events and are in direct contrast with the recollections of the Melbourne Football Club Board.

The Board are unanimous and united in their support of Simon Goodwin and are dismayed that he and his family will need to again endure this attempt to undermine his outstanding reputation as a Club leader.

In regard to the Worksafe complaint made by Ms Laspas, the Club has responded to Worksafe’s requests for documentation. This includes providing documents and proof that contradict and refute claims made by Ms Laspas.

At no point has Ms Laspas been a volunteer or employee of the Club.

Over the last two years, Mr Bartlett and his partner Ms Laspas have continued to make accusations about Club leaders that are baseless.

Interesting that Bartlett has been grinding his axe about trying to control AFL players (and coaches) since before he originally joined the MFC board. Comes across to me like a moralizing control freak who cracked it when the club refused to let him take things to extremes with his invasion of their private lives and control over them.

This from a Law Journal piece Bartlett co-wrote in 2012 (the title itself gives you an insight to this bloke):

Conclusion
Although a ‘traditional employee’ can be disciplined where his or her behaviour
harms the employer’s interest or undermines the trust and confidence necessary
between employer and employee, the parameters in which this can occur are
generally quite limited. This marks the difference between the lawful disciplinary
action against a traditional employee and that which can be taken against an
AFL footballer. By virtue of the large number of interests of the employing
body of the player (the AFL and clubs), the player is responsible for the brands
of not only their employer but the employer’s sponsors and licensees. They are
therefore responsible to the members of the public as they are the ones who
buy the memberships, licensed products and on whom the game relies for its
revenue and popularity. What may harm the interests of each of these groups
is therefore very broad and will impact upon the player even when he is not
‘running, jumping, tackling and kicking’

REGULATING THE PRIVATE CONDUCT OF EMPLOYEES

S**t news. Rest easy, little dude

Bloody hell. Do it for Charlie Tiang boys.

Rest now, your fight is over.

My sincerest condolences to his family.

Someone should send those pics to Bartlett and his missus with tagline - “This is our culture f…kwits. Take a good look”.

Don't bother. That pigheaded moron will find some way to find fault in our club.

S**t news. Rest easy, little dude

For any of you Dees fans that want to do something in Charlie’s memory, the family has organised a donation site for the Challenge charity that help do these special things for kids like Charlie go through these horrible battles.
