One game I'm dying for a remake of is Scarface. Was awesome fun on the ps2. My fav movie of all time.
would be good if they started remaking all the classic ps2 games because games are trash right now and not much coming up for a while

Was always a bit of an RTS nerd with my brothers. Total Annihilation, Age of Empires II, C&C/Red alert, Total War series etc. Still play AoE pretty regularly with mates (although we're pretty ordinary) and watch streams of that sometimes.
Skyrim, CoD etc. I played a lot in uni but have gone off a bit now.

i thought GoldenEye and Super Mariokart were good fun.
All you ever needed on the N64. Still fun to this day playing multiplayer GoldenEye. Military archives with any exploding weapon is hours of drunken entertainment.

I'm not a gamer but this opinion confuses me.

Aren't we essentially doing the same thing by watching footy?

On Mi A2 Lite using BigFooty.com mobile app
I got the same answer, "why don't you go outside and play basketball instead of watching NBA?" ****ing smartarse kids. lol

On a console, F-Zero on Nintendo.

Plenty of PC games before that, does anyone remember Police Quest?
Police Quest series was awesome, so was the Space Quest and Leisure Suit Larry series that were also made by Sierra games

God I loved the point and click adventure games

Lucasarts were the other gaming company thatr produced top ones like Monkey Island, Day of the tentacle, Sam & Max, Indiana Jones, Full Throttle and Grim Fandago

Yes! My bro and I loved Police Quest

Donkey Kong Country another absolute classic.

NHL 94 and NBA Live 95 were incredible at the time as well
I remember going to the computer store at Highpoint back when NBA Live 95 had just come out. They would have a demo of the game playing on one of the computers in the store and my mate and ! were just in amazement over how real life like it looked

Yeah solid game

The problem was that type of game had already been done with GTA: Vice City a few years earlier. So for as enjoyable as it was, it wasn't close to Vice City (which imo is one of the best games ever made)

Of course it's child like, that's the whole idea of it. You don't find things you used to do as a kid somewhat nostalgic and fun still?

I love opening footy cards with my kids, still gives me the same buzz today as it did back then when we find a rare one.

Hold on.... you're a parent?

Suddenly thinking of A11dAtP0w3R in a new light....

No
I've watched the same team since I was a kid, generations of interconnected players and years of investment. Followed through my family, you can go watch it live aswell etc. Not the same thing at all.

What I loved most about it was the first scene a chance to change history at the ending of the movie, skull gets taken out by Tony's little friend...

Thought it was an absolutely brilliant idea.

Vice city is practically a rip off of Scarface, great game.

Vice City 100% was a Scarface rip off

Right down to the mansion that Tommy Vercetti lived in and the final battle scene

Yes, got my own son who is 10 and I have step daughter also who is 12 from my Mrs previous relationship.

Both getting to the age now where they are starting to shit me. 😂

That, and if could still play football I probably would, but my body has been battered enough, plus even if my mind was still willing (which it isn't) I'm afraid i'd go to training and ping a hammy within the first two minutes.

No such issues with playing video games .

totally generational. Me every weekend to the kids, "there's 3 consoles over there, why are you watching some American w***er playing?"
What’s the generation cut off here? I’m 25 and the idea of watching someone else play games is foreign to me

holy ****, in 2009 I was arguing with a 14 year old? haha. :D

Yeah I dunno, first I'd heard of it was my brother in law and he's 29 but probably an early adopter. You might be right around the margins.

First video games I can remember playing were on the commodore 64, you only needed a spare 30 minutes or so to wait for a game to load up. You could also get a printer for it. You only needed a couple of hours to print a couple of pages and it sounded like a jackhammer. And all that amazement was just a mere 30-35 years ago people.

We got a hand me down version of the commodore 64 with one cassette. By that stage it was ****ed and the game would corrupt after the first 2 minutes but it was better than nothing. Was a grand day when we got the Nintendo. Could only ever afford 2 games though, hiring from the video shop was a monthly treat. **** we were poor and **** my kids are now ****ing spoilt.

I remember having to take the Nintendo cartridge out and blowing on it to try and get it to work again

Mario Bros 3 was the shit, game still stands up today

I remember playing some games on the C64 before the Nintendo actually. Good ole floppy discs.

Anyone remember this bad boy? Bubble Bobble.....I used to put the C64 controller on auto-fire once the levels got too fast for me and pwn those noob enemies with 5 bubbles per second. #progamer....loved that game

I remember having to use needle nose pliers on the Nintendo to get the cartridge out haha. Imagine doing that with a ****ing ps5 youd belt the campaigner for putting it anywhere near it
