Headless is out because he’s got other things to worry about outside of BF and apparently you all reckon it’s just fine for posters like Blitznu to send him abusive PMs.
Crimson is also out for similar reasons, he’s got his own set of things happening in his own life and doesn’t feel he has time ATM to be here listening to all of you who feel you can say whatever you like, abuse the volunteers who have offered their free time to try and make this board an engaging place.
I’m out too. The fact that you all think what was done to Headless is okay is a disgrace. Everyone seems to have forgotten he ran a drafting competition for entertainment, and the board demon bracket. And you’ve clearly forgotten that he is a long term poster who has always been one of the best and kindest posters here. And now he is getting abuse by PM from posters, and you reckon that’s just fine? I’ve never seen anything on Bigfooty that has depressed me more.
So you can moderate yourselves.

You wouldn’t have seen it. A poster here sent a series of abuse by private message to Headless (of all people) for no other reason then having a post deleted. No points, nothing. And the person thought it was okay to send a stream of anonymous PM abuse.
And still nobody gets it. Headless is taking a break from Bigfooty now so well done to all those that made it happen. Who knows if he will come back ever.

Abuse of mods and other toxic behaviours will not be tolerated, not here not anywhere on Bigfooty.
Hopefully we can try to get some of the wonderful Demons people back and I suggest everyone has a good look at themselves and remembers, mods are just volunteers with jobs and families and lives, trying to help the site remain usable to everyone. Try to remember the place cannot run without them doing the dirty work that sometimes has to be done.
Use the report button, report abuse, report toxic behaviour, don’t take your anger out on eachother or mods. If you feel it’s your entitlement to abuse people on an online forum then you don’t belong here.
Footy is a great game and it’s just that…a game. Many people are struggling now, lets all try to be better.

Deleting toxic posts or posts that break rules is usually the way it’s handled first, before issues turn into long drawn out arguments and before we resort to infractions. There’s no particular targets here, this just needs to be cleaned up, people need to think before they type abuse, and everyone can get back on topic. That’s all. It’s not even that hard.
