Yeah he's red and blue, good seeing former players and their love for the club even if they were jolted off. Would think woewodin would have been bitter but just loves the club. On woewodin he still looks young as if it's 2006.

I will never forget being on a train and at the end of the carriage I could see a man reading the Herald Sun. Looking at it from a distance I could see a sad looking woey, with a headline I'm pretty sure said devastated or I'm devastated.

Great, great win and very well deserved from a ies supporter here in China. I managed to get a crew together from all over the globe and we watched at a sports bar, and rode every bump, goal and absolutely loved the game and result. Being impartial, you dont know until a goal is kicked who you really lean to, and i was very pumped when CP kicked the first off one step. The Whitefriars boy was superb, and Fritch's story is great, from Coldtream to the Casey crew to getting drafted and kicking 6-humble, skillful, decisive. Very happy for my demon mates and a grand celebration of footy by the great club; as an MCC member and MCC cricketer, and having represented the club in the Sunkick(the what? long long time ago) and being in the 19s way back, i had a huge soft spot and even watched the replay today on my day off. So bask in it, nothing like being a supporter of a successful club, and well deserved all Dees supporters. Stay humble, stay red and blue. My mate Furls will be off the charts!

I get the general gist of what 00Stinger is saying, I think its cause the granny wasn't in Melbourne, winning one here where we can get out and about, having a drink with mates and family would make it that much better from that perspective, a bigger carnival atmosphere... but.....

Im just so proud of what these guys have done, how they have done it on the road without a true home crowd behind them so many time this year, how they destroyed every opponent we faced in the finals, how they turned the grand final on its head when it was slipping away, how they did it for blokes like Neale Daniher., how they took the weight of expectation of breaking a 57 year drought and delivered in spades...

The sense of pride I have is epic.

Yeah maybe that could be it. Just hope its not like the soccer where I went from a mad Liverpool supporter regularly getting up at 3am to watching games and then when they won the title a couple of years back I was happy and all but my love for it diminished hard. Now I'll watch some highlights of a game the next day at that is it

I can see how you have athletes (fighters alot of the time) that achieve the pinnacle and they fall away because once they win they just thing 'is this it? I expected getting to the top to feel a lot better.

In fact I'll go as far as saying having enjoyed the flag now Im even more certain I wouldn't have want it played infront of an empty stadium. It wasn't the MCG but that Perth crowd was as close as it gets
