The average person on Earth has one ovary and one testicle.

Sorry to be a pedant, but this isn't quite accurate. Due to gender imbalances in China and India, there are approximately 1.01 males for every 1.00 females in the world.

So the average person on Earth has approximately 1.0049 testicles and 0.9950 ovaries, not counting taking into account eunuchs ;)

The same values are true of the average member of the Chinese women swim team.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the least favored days by most people , for to book any appointment.

Because the person who takes any booking from you for either of those days , at the end of your conversation , finishes by calling you a C. o_O

eg "Ok then , see you next Tuesday / Thursday"

In 2012 so far, Lionel Messi has scored 80 goals. AC Milan as a team have only scored 76. lol.

Y'know when I first thought about the one ovary - one testicle stat, I initially thought as you did. As well as gender imbalances, I was going to take into account hysterectomies (74% of which involve the removal of the ovaries), and the testicular and ovarian cancers that result in surgical removal. I was then going to do some research into hermaphroditism and investigate the proportion of testes/ovaries present. Lastly I was going to do some statistical anaylsis of industrial and other accidents where men lose their nads.

But then I thought that would make me look like a pedantic twat, so I didn't.;)

Most people have an above-average number of legs.

Statistical games are fun. Averages (mean, median, mode) in particular. For example, we consistently hear about how medical science means 'we are living longer'. While true when related to average life expectancy (which has increased dramatically in the last century due to improvements in in medical advances and removal of dangers in our lives), there is no evidence our maximum lifespan has increased. The absolute top age (about 110) still seems to be the absolute limit. More people are getting there, but no one is going past it. So neither us (or our grand-children) are going to live 'to 160+'.

If the largest known star in the universe were to take place of the sun, it would stretch out past Jupiter.
