You have to remember that Rich would not of been able to produce the football he has at Brisbane at West Coast.
At brisbane he has Black and Power running around with him who generally are the players looked after by the opposition, at West Coast we have Kerr and then not much else.
We also play a far different game plan than Brisbane which would have made it far more difficult for him to have the same impact.

Worsfold is a far more play it by my book coach and follow the steps in order without variation while Voss has probably just said to Rich to go out and enjoy himself and just play football, we will talk about the next steps when you start to get tagged or your form drops off.

Players play differently at different clubs. Its just the way it is.

But would love this guy in our side, but aint going to happen. We passed on our opportunity.

VERY popular in Brisbane - is being seen as a poster boy by the media up here to the new resurgance of the Brisbane Lions after five years without finals.

Future of the club will be built around him and have no doubt Voss sees a bit of himself in Daniel and there is no way he will be letting him go for any price.

Already getting bandied about up this way that he will be the next club captain when J.Brown hangs up his boots.

Rich himself seems very content in Brisbane learning first hand from Brownlow medallists with the knowledge that he will be a key part of a club that will be scarily strong in 2-3 seasons time.

Additionally I tend to get the feeling that rather than being someone whom will want-away for his home state, Rich will refuse to go back West because the clubs there effectively turned him down, so will have a point to prove them wrong and rub back to them.


Is a pity though - would just love to see him take the field in Blue and Gold.

just putting it out their but wasn't brisbane interested in kerry .not saying we should do it but could be good in the long run

he would be rather useful to us.

do we know where his extended family live? oh yes, gardie and his mates have left us so that strategy may not work.

I would trade Kerr for Rich in a heart beat and there's not too many young players I would say that about.
