I thought the pies under used Cox I was always happy when they overlooked him against us and the throw up in the center will advantage him IMHO.... no he doesn't? If he were that effective, they'd ruck him full-time.
No thanks.

I'm more optimistic about Toby Conway. He's looked good when he's actually been able to get on the park, even at AFL level.
I think it's a reasonably balanced hypothetical and something that actually could get Carlton to not laugh at (like 3x R1s).Look, there's hypotheticals and then there's "Imagine if we were all talking kittens and the clouds were made of fairy floss, and the men in the Moon came down to try to steal all our toffee apples" hypotheticals.
With Carlton knocking back our offer, I reckon we should be asking Walter’s if he’s interested in joining us now JUH is GC bound.
Would probably cost less, and has the potential to have a greater impact than Curnow over the journey.
They may be able stall it for 12 months but if Curnow doesn't buy in they will fold next year.Look, at the end of the day we all know Curnow to Geelong is a non-starter because we just don't have the picks. C'est la vie.
The need picks to match some high end academy prospects both this year and next.Or Bailey Humphrey but they don’t want or need picks unfortunately
Carlton and St Kilda should have a yarn to Melbourne about holding onto contracted players who want to get to us.They may be able stall it for 12 months but if Curnow doesn't buy in they will fold next year.
Most will say no, but I'd consider it. That said, if we were going to do that, I don't think we needed to re-sign Stanley.Any love for the big yank tank one year contract to give us some breathing space if we can't secure Marshall this year.
I tend to agree, but there have been cases where it goes the other way and it all goes happy families, too. Ryan O'Keefe and Tom Papley the poster boysThey may be able stall it for 12 months but if Curnow doesn't buy in they will fold next year.

It's not about his ability - we all see that - it's about the fragility of his body
We will miss, heads to Sydney last day deal. Carlton list boss said they wouldn’t even entertain it via the radio today.I tend to agree, but there have been cases where it goes the other way and it all goes happy families, too. Ryan O'Keefe and Tom Papley the poster boys

Agree to disagree. Goldy was a much better player in his prime. But he looks cooked. He couldn't get around the ground this year when he had to play.Again, I'd prefer Goldstein if we're going that way. Cox is more of a ruckman/forward and we've already got Neale. Goldstein is an old-school tap ruckman which we don't really have, and since he seems to want to transition into coaching a team with a few up-and-coming rucks that's also just lost its ruck coach seems an almost perfect fit. Finally, Cox seems to be a bit of a jackass and I never really got that vibe from Goldy.
Not goldy at 36. Rather Stanley go round again. Athleticism over slow and bulk.Agree to disagree. Goldy was a much better player in his prime. But he looks cooked. He couldn't get around the ground this year when he had to play.
He’s not strung together a bunch of games more than 8 or so in a row without injury. He’s now got an impact injury which is significant for leaping, where I doubt he’ll be available at all.I'm more optimistic about Toby Conway. He's looked good when he's actually been able to get on the park, even at AFL level.
I have to admit I didn't see a lot of Goldie this year but what I did see he looked on his last legs.Again, I'd prefer Goldstein if we're going that way. I agree. Sydney need him more than we do, and they have better chips to play at the table as well.We will miss, heads to Sydney last day deal. Carlton list boss said they wouldn’t even entertain it via the radio today.
