GFC forward line discussion

Watching his brief goal in the forward line yesterday made me wonder whether or not we could sit Darren Milburn down forward for a game or two next year to see how that would go for us?

We have a bit of space in our backline and need to focus on capitalising our forward entries.

I do bring this up as a result of our efforts yesterday, but it was plain to see that our forward line was a bit of an issue well before yesterday. Take a look at the Hawks forward line and you can rest a little easier where when I look at people like Stevie Johnson and Cameron Mooney I just cannot sit back when they take a mark and go "yep, he'll seal this."

That, matched with the cutesy offloading of the ball when its grabbed inside 50 just really needs to be dumbed down... too many times someone can sit back and kick for goal they are trying to offload it quickly and it ends up being wasted

1. otto did not hand off, when there were 2 players in a better position
2. chappie had a snap when johno was clear
3. mooney missed 2 sitters
4. stokes missed straight out

that is 5 goals, and victory to the cats
we lost the game because we were selfish
the cats did not look after each other and it cost us a gf

this was our game to win, and put some demons behind us

the hawks snippers were there, as there were a number of hits aimed at guys heads (mitchell tried to kill ablett, 6 week penalty min as double points)

the forwards cost us. we need players who are hungry and want this.

stokes, you were shit
varcoe you are and will always be shit
loners, everyone is nice to you because of an injury, we need a power forward

this is not a bandwagon supporter
but an honest assesment

It hurts to say this, but its time to F%$K off Cameron Mooney. He was at his pathetic best yesterday, when needed to kick goals he was either lazy in his run up or simply tried to kick the sh1t out of the ball. Just kick the f%$cken ball properly.

F%$K OFF Mooney, its about Tomahawk and Lonergan next year.

and if Stokes does have OP then he is a selfish little sh1t as well, if he knows he isnt right then why didnt he put his hand up during the week when there was someone to be dropped, he's done nothing for over a month now and yesterday was his worst game of his career, he just tried to chase a 2nd premiership knowing he prob wasnt going to contribute much, poor effort Stokes
