After another terrible DT game of 37 points Gibbs is going to go down in value this week in my opinion its time to get off this gravy train and jump on board the Pettard locomotive.

If he has another solid game this week around 70 points its 100k in the bank plus a reserve who is scoring better.

What you guys think will Gibbs improve? Is Pettard good enough to stay in the side for the rest of the season?

I have both on my bench and am expecting both to improve in value for the rest of the year. I had been intending to cash in Gibbs this week but with that performance I might have to hang onto him for another couple of weeks and hope he goes better. Have to hope the other side of the trade doesn't jump up too much.

A Melbourne supporter mate says that Pettard is playing Whelans role so when he comes back who knows.

I'd say he'll be in the team for another 2-3 weeks tho.

I traded him in this round for Gibbs...

Gibbs benched but kept. I swapped him for my other Carlton middie, Russell. Not great, but a little value at least.

Never jumped on that train to begin with...

There were better prospects who were cheaper IMO. Never really entered the fray.

But dumping Selwood for Hadley the week he got 119 wasn't exactly a genius move. Time will tell I guess.

The way he is playing i don't think he will rise above 200,000
