in a follow up to the 'eddie betts at subway' thread of about a year ago, i just saw gibbsy here in adelaide at marion westfield. he was eating oporto with his mum and dad. liked the new haircut. wassnt he in a press conference yesterday in melbourne?

In any case, this is a perfect time to tell everyone about last sunday when i was eating at Oporto's on Chapel St, and who should walk past, but the one and only Chris Judd.

I nearly coughed up my food and he noticed me staring at him as he walked by. I sensed a look of fear in his eyes, as though i was going to pursue him down the street....i almost did.

Couldn't believe how tall he is in real life, surprisingly so. He was trying to go un-noticed with a hat pulled down low, with his ears tucked into it, but the fluro green t-shirt kinda drew the attention back to him

when i went to the Gold Coast half a dozen players were at Nandos when i walked in with my mates. the players were Waite, Fisher, Simmo and a couple of others that i cant remember. but Lappin left a minute earlier

but there table looked like a bomb shelter when they were done, literally ate a mountain of food, probably why we ran out of legs at the end of the game that night!!

i agree on the burger analysis. also gibbs looked smaller to me. on TV he looks a lot bigger. i expected him to be bigger since i have only seen him a few times at the ground since his sanfl days
