Very impressive so far.

*****GODDAMMIT*****

Especially liked her statement that the mining ads will be pulled and that she wants to re-commence negotiations with an open mind.

A heap of pathetic motherhood statements. What did she tell you? Nothing.

Mining Industry should just increase the advertising, they are on the ropes, don't give them an inch.

You are extraordinarily easily pleased!!!

FFS, the RSPT remains in budget forecasts, as is. She simply changed the word from "consultation" to "negotiation". Then she promised to cancel some very embarrassing ads.

For that, she wants the mining industry to shut up?

She needs to do better than that.

She comes across as a western suburbs bogan. Embarrassing.

Perhaps - but she showed empathy, took responsibility and is making it known that she is going to be a more inclusive.

That would be a bad error IMO

People gobble that shyte up though.

You watch Laurie Oakes start gushing in a minute...

True

But considering she said she will actually consult cabinet unlike Krudd I suppose she has to consult cabinet before making any firm statements

Her ego rivals Robert Mugabe to be honest. Ive never seen a politician love themself this much. Surely all of this is someone having a lend on? They arnt this much of a rabble are they?

Given your opening post, your judgement seems poor so your view of it being an error is likely 100% wrong.

Reminds me of the Morris Marina. Fresh looks but the same old shit underneath.

Mining tax ads move is clever politics. Will be interesting to see how much is really on the table.

Huh
Lets see if the Mining industry agrees with my opinion or yours. The Australian public is not going to take too kindly to ads from them after their elected representatives asked them to cease pending more negotiation. Especially when they have pulled the ads themselves. I mean, who are the ads going to win over in that situation ?

Mate. I'm no fan of the Labor party.

Desperately wanted Rudd to remain as that was the Coalition's best chance of winning the next election.

Unfortunately I think its another 3 years in opposition now.

.

Re moving to the Lodge: "I am more than happy with my home in Altona and my flat in Canberra and don't feel the need to change that until I fulsomely earn the trust of the Australian public".

Abbott can't beat her. He won't even get close.

Are you deliberately being dim???

The govt has asked them to stop ads before - because they work.

Take the TAX off the table and start negotiations from scratch. They will stop campaigning.

But removing ads, leaving the tax in the budget numbers and stopping some ads is meaningless. It's politics and words....

A Norf supporter from Geelong likes a western suburbs bogan. Wow. News at 11.
