Nothing really wrong with the timing. That YouTube video you posted before of the UK version was an hour with no ads.
Maybe they should post it ad free on TenPlay? I can imagine we are getting 20-30 mins of ads each ep.

UK version has five events plus Eliminator though, AU has four plus Eliminator.

They should put a fifth event. If they had a studio audience, they would be able to it in 90 minutes rather than crossing to the Gladiators HQ backstage and wasting time.

So Beau Ryan ruined Ch10's version of The Amazing Race by hosting it and they thought it was a good idea to let him ruin this show as well.
Don't know why the people in charge there think he's a great host but it's the same people that allow Waleed Aly to keep hosting The Project
They must really be struggling for good hosts there now that Dr Chris Brown has bailed on them and gone to Ch7.
Their I'm A Celebrity show will be a trainwreck too without him hosting it, he held it together.

I would love to like this post a million times. Couldn't agree more, he is ****ing woeful
The only problem with that post is the positive opinion about Dr Chris Brown... who is only marginally less woeful than Beau Ryan (who is at least as woeful as your own post says he is).

I don't think he is a great host either but compared to Beau Ryan and some other hosts on Australian television he looks good in comparison.
He's better than Beau Ryan... but so is the shit I left lying in the toilet yesterday afternoon. We're talking a seriously low bar here.
Dr Chris Brown is a looooong way from good.

not that the nightly TV ratings are the be all and end all these days (since they are measuring streaming and views over a 7 day period), but going from 395k on the debut night (across the 3 channels) to 196k on the 2nd night is pretty awful.
