If you listened to the same interview that I did you would have heard the interviewer explain that they had just got him out of bed and he was nor awake. He is a special child I refuse to use the word disabled. He is "Rainman" all over.

Maybe you should watch the movie "Pi" Same thing

Port supporters are the most loyal in the world.

Hence I'm still a Crows man... ;)

Only supporters of 'other' clubs are bandwagoners. Port supporters are the most loyal in the world.

Exactly .... but note that it was a Crows supporter that jumped clubs.

Yes hes a Port supporter now - but he wasnt at the time, now he's loyal.

I tuned in mid-way through. Perhaps they should've waited til he was awake. ;) He was a bit more animated on the footy show.

And yes realise having that sort of mind comes with it's problems.

I haven't seen either of those two movies. (I have meant to watch Rainman, but I've been told Pi is crap.)

As I understand it the character in "Rainman" was a "Savant" (not sure of the spelling) which is a very very rare type of mental condition. These are people who have an amazing special skill (ie with number of drawing or music) but may have very limited abilities in most other areas due to their condition.

The range of Autism (whic they said Tim had) is quite large, and Tim seemed to be on the lower end of the scale as his communication skills were reasonably good I thought. Hard to know though without seeing him day to day.

A very special child indeed. Good on him and I am sure he enjoyed the footy show and Friday night footy.

Having watched Pi in my younger days for a mathematics course, I can tell you it is not crap it is bloody crap. But I loved the maths in it which is why I remember it.

If you had two really good mates and one of them slept with the other one's wife, I find it quite normal for ARcehr to behave the way he did

Just because Wayne is playing good footy for us should not cloud our judgment as to the rights and wrongs of that issue. I thought Archer was very diplomatic.

Well we are all entitled to our opinions. Personally I don't think Wayne Carey is a bad person. He made a mistake, he got caught and he almost paid the ultimate price in loosing his career. Luckily for us he chose to come back and I am very glad he is a Crow. He is not the first man or woman to have an affair and he won't be the last. Archer is a fool and his lack of intellegance shone through on Thursday night.

The only thing is I wish he had done it a couple of years ago! Mind you we would have had more competition in getting him then :D. Seriously who am I to judge? If he or any of the boys came knocking at my door they wouldn't be turned away - married or not! I just say let him get on with what he does best and that is play footy and kick goals. Hopefully he will have a real impact on the finals and help us to our 3 premiership!

Exactly!!!!

What any of them do in their own time is their business not ours (unless they're doing us :D). As long as they are performing on the field that's all we should be worried about!

Perhaps so, but this was not evidenced by his remarks on Carey.

You just can't condone such behaviour. Affairs are unfortunately pretty normal but not wiht your best mates wife. Archer is well etntitled to still be upset.

And if you had to have a high level of intelligence to be a worthwhile individual then you could write off half the posters on BigFooty.....and then some.

Agree its got nothing to do with Footy though, I was just saying Archer's comments were understandablel and quite amusing on one occassion.
