It seems a bit strange that Bedgood has gone-

from Nully to Lalbert
Lalbert to Nully
now from Nully to Lalbert again?

Maybe the guys a tosser and is playing both clubs for his own personal benifit, and doesn't give a shit about ether club!!!!!!

No he hasn't, dont know why there was a clearance put in, but it was denied anyway.

Alright boys lets have a look at the is weeks matches

Winners
Nully to get over the tigers
Wandella just to strong for the improving saints
Ultima to get back on the winners list, after last weeks dissapointment
Moulamein to beat wakool.

you have hit the mark their he's a player who only chases money and hopes for e premiership. never stayed at one club for more than one year, but sean is a great full forward and he proved that on the weekend

also a bet for rookie of the year would be Nathan Alty:D

If he was going to play for a club why wouldn't he settle on Nully? They will play finals unless they fall in a hole. Lalbert will struggle of course which is unfortunate. How are the Lalbert boys handling the situation Roota?

Nathan Alty is an excellent choice for rookie. Justin Robinson would go well also.

Good to see big 'Spider' Meehan back for the Bombers today, will be an asset for the second half of the year.

Tips:
Wandella to defeat Quambatook by 10 goals.
Moulamein to defeat Wakool by 7 goals.
Ultima to defeat Hay by 5 goals.
Nullawil to defeat Macorna by 6 goals.

We have moved on and are just concentrating on those players who have a bit of ticker and want to play for Lalbert. Our boys will continue to battle hard each week no matter who the opposition is and how hard it gets. Then we will turn around and do it all again the next week, not take the easy option and bail out

With June 30th coming around quickly, is there any news of last minute comings and goings. There is still time for Beddgy to chuck in another clearance;)

Well said.:thumbsu:
Enough of that topic, what of the fortunes or lack thereof pertaining to Moulamein? Could not believe it when I heard that they lost to Wakool. Are the playing stocks decimated by injury? Can Play, shed some light!

Lost too many players from last year. Haven't got the depth to cover injuries. Well done to Wakool on the weekend. Played well and deserved to win. We only had 17 on the ground in last qtr but it didn't cost us the game. It was already over.

Were you the creator of that review Catter, big news about Mathiske he has been excellent for the Maroons over the past year.

Mathiske hasn't been checked out yet, may be 1 week but could be up to 6 was the early report from the Nully physio. Know more by the end of the week, but highly unlikely to play this week

Is this David Landini prick for real? His still harping on about this under 14s having to wear helmets system, now classing it as bullying from the GRFL. If your unaware of what I am talking about, read today's edition of the Northern Times under Sport Mailbox. If putting the child's head safety first is "bullying" David, then its fair to say you are obviously a dikwit!!!

Spot on Facts Rite:thumbsu: :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

It is simple....if the kids don't want to wear a helmet they do not play. We have do do everything to ensure the kids are safe when playing sport.

It used to be compulsory for the under 17's to wear helmets in the CMFL a few years back

He should round up a petition of support on the matter. I will personally send him a post-it note for him to grab names...

Frequent traveller miles

WHILE D2 Ammos players have their travel demands this season, it's nothing to what the players from the Hay Football Club put up with every year. Hay is a town on the Murrumbidgee River, about 450 kilometres north of Melbourne. The footy club's closest rival in the Golden Rivers Football League is Moulamein, which is 120 kilometres south. Nullawil is more than 300 kilometres south, which makes the journey from Hay to Nullawil the longest road trip in a Victorian-affiliated competition. Hay fields four teams (seniors, reserves, under-17s and under-14s) and five netball teams. The club hires a 47-seat coach and before this season it bought its own second-hand 24-seat bus. The buses leave soon after dawn (as early as 6.30am to enable the under-17s to make their 10.30am first bounce) and return home late. Players and officials while away their journeys by watching videos and playing cards. Hay president Robert "Buck" Howard said Victorian clubs are spoilt. "It doesn't matter where we play; we have to travel," he said.
Tickled pink

ON Saturday, Hay had the luxury of playing at home, in this case against top team Wandella, a club based just outside Kerang, about 250 kilometres south. Hay put up a good fight before going down by eight goals. The match was notable for the fact that Hay wore pink jumpers to raise funds for breast cancer research. After the match the senior players' 22 jumpers fetched an average of $380 at auction. The jumper that fetched the highest price ($610) was worn by midfielder and assistant coach Rory Redfern, who was Hay's best on ground that day. The buyer was Debbie Doyle, whose daughter, Kate, goes out with Redfern

Nully secured one last signing before close yesterday, a player coming back to the league after a year or two away:thumbsu:. Anyone else snare a final recruit before close?

Wandella youngster Bryce franzini has been a confirmed signing for Murrabit who seem to be going all out for the thirds flag.

Were Wandella thirds really defeated last week. That would make it about a 50 game winning streak. Not a bad effortby the boys....and congrats to the Hay lads for the win. Must give tham hope for the upcoming finals.

yep, the bombers went down, didn't reach the 50 game mark was in the high 40's though, Wandella had a few players out but Hay are still a strong side, should be a good finals series in the thirds:thumbsu:

Match of the round at Nully this week with Murrabit making the trip to the Mallee. Should be a cracker of a game with Nully just to get over the line and avenge their earlier narrow loss at Murrabit. Other people's thoughts?

Anyways hope the stubbies are nice and cold as always at Nully :thumbsu:
