good luck tonight tigers (and tiger supporters)

Don't believe the hype about it being a certain loss. What happens to a team when their coach announces he is leaving is as mystical as the famous what came first, the chicken or the egg question.

Anything could happen tonight. Even a single change - like if Leppitsch's Mrs has gone into labour and he pulls out, could cause a big change in how the game pans out.

personally I hope my lot aren't too complacent and go out expecting a win, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of a good showing from your lot.

Beating the bummers always is a good thing, if your having a good year or not! It's up there with beating collingwood!

Personally I reckon Frawley handled his resignation with dignity and aplomb. What freaks me out is the massive similarities to the Robert Walls Bears resignation in 95. The lack of success in the season, the internal/administration/board issues at the club, the respect of the playing group, the talking to a few of the senior members (read that somewhere earlier in the week I think) and especially the staying till seasons end which must be a hard decision. I reckon it's the right one to make. The players know they are now playing for their careers, but doing so in a familiar surrounding with Danny still there. I reckon you might see a marked improvement.

Never forget what happened to the Bears of 95 under the same circumstances.
