I honestly think you guys have a great chance, and I thought last week we were never going to lose to Carlton.

Basically I think the game goes like this - if it is a shootout, I think we lose. If we can clog up the midfield/forward line and keep the scores around 80-90 I think we may get up. Definitely a 50/50 in my mind and I don't see much reason for so many Richmond fans to be so pessamistic.

I rate their midfield alongside Collingwood's - a lot of solid rotations but not much grunt.
We absolutely have a chance this week, anyone who thinks otherwise is just trying to cushion the blow of missing the finals by writing us off already.

collingwoods midfield is full of strong solid plodders, if they arent at full capacity they get smashed bc of lack of legspeed.

The fact that you rate adelaides midfield the equivalent of collingwoods shows just how far apart we are in POV. This has got nothing to do cushioning the dissapointment. Goodwin, Thompson, Edwards, Mcleod, Shirley, Doughty, Reilly Van berlo gut run with the best of them.

I'm looking forward to this game more than our last few for a couple of reason

I'm a Richo Fan, I'm a foley fan, I like your song but hope to only hear it at the start of the game .

I think your a chance to win, of course I have a bias towards Adelaide so i think we will win.
I don't think it will be because its Macca's 300th but it will have an influence on some of the senior players you would think.

Porps being out is massive, however I would hope that bringing Johncock and possibly Rielly back in is equally as big for our side.

I will also be looking forward to the rucking contest with Simmonds potentially giving Maric and Moran the run around and giving your mob first use.

Hows Polak progressing ? its off the radar over hear in Adelaide - i'd assume he has been to the club by now ?

Earlier in the year i would have pencilled this in as a definite loss. I thought the Crows would be too mature and would smash us just like St Kilda always do (for the same reason).

But something doesn't seem right at the Crows. Maybe it's something off field, maybe their game plan has been worked out, maybe just injuries and poor form.

I think we are a huge chance, unlike last week where everything needed to go right (and didn't).

I would have agreed with you till I found out it was McLeod's 300th. Teams always fire up for milestone games involving a player who is loved by fans & teammates. Most confident tip this year (apart from any Cats game) was for the Dockers to fire up last week for Shauny Mac.

However, it is Bowden's 250th, and we are playing well, so we are certainly a chance. Season defining game, more for us than them.
