Clayton Oliver (38 possessions, 27 contested, 13 clearances, nine tackles)
How good was this kid?
15th best SuperCoach Score of all time .....a measurement of contested possessions, DE, and game impact ......94% TOG is some feet too for a midfielder

Keayes was the highest mid TOG for us with 81%

Nothing worse than making off the cuff comments .....or maybe explain yourself better

Facts are Port Fans are attending games in greater numbers than Crows ......explain if you have any knowledge on the subject

No the Showdown was 100% but only 43,069 (well below the capacity of 53,500). I’d guess 10kbwoukd have been Crows and we have the worst time slots as well. We would have had another 5k last night if it was at 7.10pm.

One thing I have noticed is there appear to be less older people, yes I’m nearly 60, but I’m referring to the even older age bracket. And some people are risk averse and don’t want to be in crowds even though we don’t have COVID-19.
MY POV is that during CoVid lockdown we developed new habits, like watching footy on TV ......going to the Footy is also a habit, and once you break that habit, it's hard to get back

The AFL is experiencing this crowd downturn across the entire AFL ......it has a job now to re-establish habits of the past

In Victoria, the inability to decide on match day to go to the footy, and simply rock up and buy a ticket, is having a negative impact .......Club Members are even being stitched up by Ticketek and being asked to pay upwards of $50 for a ticket online above their memberships

So there are real issues at play

And so they should, they think they're winning a flag
You don't think the Crows have given supporters value for money this year ? ......or are you saying Crows supporters are downhill skiers ?

A little summary of poor decisions from the umpires last night (despite the fact that the ones at the end in favour of us have now been shown to be correct decisions)

- Sloane called for holding against Oliver, replays showed both were grappling, nothing in it and commentators said as much. Set shot at goal Oliver misses.
- Keays called holding the ball in F50, Dees player clearly plays on and is caught with the ball. Should have been set shot to McAdam
-McAdam unlucky several times not to be giving holding the man, was happening the whole night on entries into F50

I was dubious even after watching the new vision that the deliberate came off the Melbourne player.

But then someone on here said to watch spargos hand.

It is clear as day if you watch spargos hand that it came off him. Spargos hand flips up quite abruptly as the ball hits it. Murray was trying to handball further up the boundary line.

Good call by the umpire

Further to my post just then. Anyone that argues here on it’s still deliberate is a moron. You have no idea how far up the line the ball would have gone if it doesn’t deflect off spargo.

Yep and even then whatever Murray's intent was is irrelevant because Spargo was the last to touch it.

Rough tackle on Oliver right before Oliver's goal in the second. Would have been 4 weeks if he hit his head on the ground. Probably 0 given no injury.
Funny that yet that d##khead umpire missed Keays getting him head high by Jackson and yet not even a free kick,
Yeah Melbourne got screwed over 😝

Correct call .....when tackled you have to dispose of the ball .....Murray handballed to grass straight in front of him

I do hope we learn from that last centre bounce though.

I mean we got lucky, but it shouldn't have been that easy

It had been that easy for a lot of the game. Unfortunately we didn't have the class to go with Oliver and Petracca.

Is there a covid-related reason none of the commentary these days (apart from the boundary rider) is live at the ground? Getting really tired of special comments guys who can't offer much insight because they can only see the same thing we can on screen - all because they're in a studio in Melbourne.
