Interesting that Nicks singled out Fog for praise for playing a 'really important' role on Lever. Maybe he didn't get the memo that Fog apparently had no impact on the game, hence why he lashed out in frustration at how badly he was going??

This is where the Crows need to respond with the video showing a Melbourne player deflecting it out of bounds and asking for a please explain. It is completely ignored in this comment. We shouldn't put up with this ****ery.

So the ump got it wrong but luckily for him got it right as the ball was touched..so the AFL should be applauding the outcome as having got to the right conclusion in the end..fekkers

It's definitely a more enjoyable scenario that the AFL thought that was the wrong call.

So, the ump though Doedee was close enough that he tried to get it to him, not one single Melbourne player in the vicinity appealed for deliberate, and it probably came off Spargo’s hand.

But to please the Vic Media vultures, they have to come out and say it’s the wrong decision.

Sad that randoms on an internet forum can analyze an umpiring decision more fairly than these paid 'professionals.'

Honestly surprised today they haven't taken Spargo over to Adelaide Oval to take a free kick at goal now.

Happens all the time, just look at some of the decisions our coaches have made to the chagrin of most (a lot) on here.

If Crows are asked for a comment they should say something like...."it is what it is. I'm pretty sure we can go through the whole game and find a dozen more similar calls. It doesn't change the result just like every other game. "

Even if it was the most deliberate deliberate out of bounds ever, I could care less. Remember when Melbourne got to play an away final against us at their home ground, forcing us on the road twice in two weeks before we ran out of puff against Collingwood in the prelim... by my estimation, we’re due about half a dozen contentious last minute calls against the Dees before that injustice is rectified... plus, that other time when we were punished as harshly as them for their tanking a season... honestly, screw them, screw the Victorian media and screw the AFL.

Go Crows.

Sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield.

proof yet again that you guys were gifted the game purely because the umpire didn't have the courage to make the correct call in front of a home crowd. corruption at its best.

Your win will go down as the game that was gifted unfortunately.

Lol you lost to last year's wooden spooners.

That’s a shame

The fact the AFL thinks the umpires made the wrong call makes our victory even better. fu** 'em
The argument seems to be there's zero chance (their narrative) the umpire could have seen that Spargo touched it, so that now becomes completely irrelevant to the decision.

So it's technically correct, but also wrong because you have to ignore what actually happened to come to the correct conclusion.

Awwwwww so salty
If you were good enough you wouldn't have had to worry about the decision. Outplayed by last year's spooners
