everyone has a PhD in Hindsight. After the 2006 season our team was a disgrace and some of the comments justified. But those implying Melbourne was going to be a powerhouse for the next 5 years, well that is comedy gold.

too true Catman. I didn't exactly start 2007 (or even a few games in) thinking were we lining up for a GF berth. I was actually worried that Geelong & StKilda were on the same path and going to waste their opportunities.
But given where both teams are today, that comment by DM is Magic!

pfft...anyone can make comments "valid at the time", is called shortsightness if there such a word.....

is like me saying "i cant see west coast winning a flag anytime soon cause they are shit right now." whos to say they dont come out and win the flag in two years time cause they still have alot talented young players....
