will go for 2 weeks, dont agree with rule but he is gone.

No, he'll go. I think he went sideways or something, but we'll miss him for 1-2 weeks now. Greeat.

Nothing feels too bad atm though :D
 
I thought it was pretty soft, but I have a feeling he's used up his luck at the tribunal. As long as he is back for the Collingwood game.....

I thought it was accidental at the time, but maybe I'm looking at it through red and white coloured glasses.
 
His little sideways glance makes it look worse than it was.

I wonder what they AFL expect a player to do?

.... when it is a desperate sideways race for the ball .....and one lunges forward with head falling at hip height to get there first.

Is the other player required to fire retro rockets? apply parachutes? grind the gearbox in reverse ? and then wave the faller over the zebra crossing????
 
He was already running into the player, and couldn't stop in time to avoid the head contact.

I don't know what to make of it anymore... having mixed views from many.

Some of you guys are pretty optomistic but I reckon he went the bump intentionally and was not interested in the ball. Will be in trouble IMO.

What about the hit on LRT? I can't recall who it was but he seemed to hit him square in the chin. The umps didn't even pay a free but surely that will be looked into?

I'm just getting a little confused. Confusion will be solved at the tribunal, though.

I thought it was an impressive bump on LRT; though maybe LRT did milk it? I don't know.

There was also an incident where Buchanan snapped a goal, and then was later punched in the stomach by Selwood.
 
The LRT hit looked a pretty good and legal one.....he took it pretty well as well - he does show some toughness from time to time.

Nope, hit him fair and square straight down the middle, LRT head just moves forward on impact and contacts his shoulder.

Great hit, what footy is all about, no freekick, no report

He backs into contests continually and brings the ball to ground. You dont have to mark the ball to be very very effective.

Trolls are already out in force and currently infesting the gameday and mainboard threads.

After viewing it again i dont think its as bad as it looked the first time its not a front on bump to the head, more of a side-on hit if anything at the max he will get 1 week.
 
Unfortunately, didnt see the hit, was listening on radio. But main board is going
into meltdown over it. Looks like he will get off, because he is Adam Goodes,
and also because he plays for the Swans. We are back in the headlines again!
From reading our board,i think 2 weeks out,seems to be the most popular so
far!
 
Not surprised they're talking about Goodes' report. Yes, we're in newspapers again.
