I don't expect this to ever actually be read by RL & Co, nor acted upon. Heck, what do I know? I've only been following the club for 10x the time you've been working there...
This isn't to have a go at you. How can I? You have the team 16-0 and playing superb.
But, we as fans, as members, at least deserve to be told some ******* reason why one of our favourite players, Matt Maguire can't manage to get a run in 2009.
It can't be his commitment. He has busted his nuts to come back from a hurrendous injury.
It can't his effort. He plays with a passion and ferocity like no other.
It can't be his loyalty, the man is St Kilda through and through.
It can't be his courage.
It can't be his ability.
So, all I'm asking is WHY? Why can't a guy like Goose get a run? Even is his form isn't exactly what you want, or his pace is a bit down. Surely, someone who has been through what he has, deserves a go. You know he won't give any less than 100%. Sure, you don't give 'pity' games, but let's be serious, you have given Clarke and Gwilt many chances (with goo results), it's time to give Goose a go.
Because, by this me next year, he could be Carlton's very own Zac Dawson.
