Woke up this morning, a little late, but the sun was so blue I could've sworn this was Albany, circa January 2010. Beautiful sky, even better weather (jeans, t-shirt, and a beanie/scarf would do you just about perfectly), and excitement I don't think I've felt before. I just woke up feeling really, really excited.

Honestly, this is what it's all about. Those nerves. Seeing other Freo fans swarm the CBD. Everything. Honestly, I'm going to miss this week because I don't know if I'll feel it like this again.

So, who's going to this today? Should be ruined by some corny AFL tool spewing propaganda and one-liners that'd make genuine wordsmiths cry, but whatever, many-a-great cliche spouters said it best: it's all about the football.

It's going to be surreal seeing Pav up there. No one else in the AFL deserves this experience. Absolute champion, and I hope they're plotting out statue space at Fremantle Oval as of next week.

Where are most people standing? Does anyone have the rough times? How packed is it?

Basically, what a day to be alive. Should be a good warm-up before the real thing kicks off, or bounces down, tomorrow.
