Can anyone give an update on Jimmy? Is he going to play WAFL (Peel) or has he gone back to Vic. I trust he departed without any issues and keeps in touch with the club. Were is Jimmy?

That was before Christmas, and it was just the one leg of that Clipper race - from South Africa to Freo. It only went for a week or so.


Makes sense really, that he would move up to one of the Freo teams. That's most likely where he lives, and he's obviously decided he wants to stay in WA. He was tied to Peel only because he was assigned there, not by choice. How many games did he play for Peel over the years? 20 maybe?

Normally I don't like to see players swap WAFL teams - I'd like to see more club loyalty in the WAFL - but it's not as if Peel developed him and gave him his start... That's why I think it's a bit rough that Robbie Haddrill has left Perth... even though my club is the beneficiary (although I am sure I'll get used to it... ). I think there needs to be a bit of repayment to the club that got you started. That's why guys like Cookie, Woey and even Kasey Green get a big ...

Grandson will look great in red and white thumbsu, and if he plays a full season would be a shot at the Sandover, for sure.... in a tie with Cookie of course.

He played 10 games for Freo last year - so he couldn't have played more than 10-12 for Peel.

Don't know about 2006, my memory's not that good.

But anyway, I was just guessing... maybe he played 30 - 40.

Not to mention the careful nurturing of Hayden, Thornton, Blackie, Murphy etc since they were 17 year olds??

I thought Pav played for Sowfs before he got the call up.

I would like to see more loyalty from retiring AFL players, that is why players like Cookie go up a couple of notches in my book.

Love to see Cookie and Walker tie the Sandover, would Cookie jog up and "shitfront" Walker off the stage ?.
