What is the greatist charector to grace our screens.Im talking fictional here on either tv or the movies.

The first that spring to mind for me are Kramar and Newman.Or Keyser Soze and James Bond

Im sure there are plenty others

You mean 'greatest character' (sorry sabre)

Movies? Bond, James Bond.

TV, the Doctor (as in Who).

Books, (could be controversial and say Jesus) or play it safe and say Angus Thermopyle.

Btw. Comics is easy Batman. Grendel is a close second.

Instead of naming an individual character, I will nominate a character type which I believe is the most enduring in film history.

A smallish man, who always seems to be the wrong person, at the wrong place at the wrong time, and while all about him disaster occurs, he somehow is untouched.

The actor I most associate with this character type is Charlie Chaplin.

If any of you get a chance to see this man ply his trade on film, grab it with both hands, it will be an experience you'll love

Dr. Evil...100% all the way.

Anyone who does not find him funny, has to have no brain or be an Essendon supporter.

I'm hoping Mike Myers will make an Austin Powers III, cos unlike the Police Academy flicks, the more Austin Powers films...the better!:D

Johnny Bravo & The Ghost Who Walks, Man Who Cannot Die, The Phantom. As for someone played by an actor, for mine I'd say Norm & Cliff from Cheers.
